The Effect of Opting Out

Opting out ends the sharing, not the advertising. Expect to keep seeing ads, just not ones shaped by your browsing. Access to everything on culturallywise.com is unaffected, as anti-discrimination provisions require.

Background

• We should be clear about scope. Your personal information is not sold for money. Where advertising is served, though, identifiers may be shared with advertising partners, and because these laws define ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ expansively, that sharing may fall within them. The opt-out is offered on that basis.
• This right is available to every reader of culturallywise.com, not only to readers interested in Homeschooling in Different Countries who have contacted us or joined the mailing list.

How to Tell Us

You can opt out by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which this site honours automatically without any message from you; by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner where it appears; or by emailing hello@culturallywise.com under the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. None of these routes requires you to register.
